Getting started with Wolfy
Connect your Google account and start chatting with your Google Ads data in a few minutes.
Wolfy is your AI assistant for Google Ads. Instead of digging through the Google Ads interface, you can ask questions in plain language, such as "What are my top campaigns this month?" or "Why did ROAS drop last week?" and get expert-level answers, analysis and reports in seconds.
Setting up for the first time
Wolfy doesn't have its own sign-in or its own Google connection. It runs on top of the Google Ads access your organisation already has in Flowboost:
- Sign in to Flowboost. Wolfy uses the same session, so there's nothing separate to sign in to.
- Connect Google Ads once, at the organisation level. An organisation admin does this from Settings > Organisation settings > Integrations. One connection grants access to Google Ads (and, if you use Shopping or Performance Max, Google Sheets and Merchant Center too), shared across every project in the organisation.
- Connect a Google Ads account to a project. From Settings > Organisation settings > Projects, open a project and connect the specific Google Ads customer account it should use. See Add and manage projects.
- Open Wolfy. Your focus account is resolved automatically from whichever project is currently selected in the Organisation / Project switcher, no picker inside Wolfy itself.
Example of the organisation and project switcher
- Start a new chat and ask your first question.
If your organisation hasn't connected Google Ads yet, or the current project has no Google Ads account, Wolfy will tell you and point you back to these settings rather than asking you to sign in.
Is my data safe?
Yes. A few things worth knowing:
- Wolfy has read-only access. It never changes, pauses, or deletes anything in your ad campaigns.
- Your data is not shared with anyone outside your organisation.
- You're in control. You can delete any conversation (which also removes the Google Ads data tied to it). Because the Google connection is shared at the organisation level, revoking it (from Flowboost or from your Google account's security settings) affects every project in the organisation, not just your own chats.
A good first question
The best prompts include a goal, a timeframe and a KPI. For example:
"Show me my ROAS over the last 30 days and the 3 campaigns that hurt it most."
That's it, you're ready to go. See Getting the best answers from Wolfy for tips on phrasing.
