Before you set up Labelizer
Before creating a Labelizer project, make sure the organisation has the right Google connection and Google Ads account.
Labelizer works per Google Ads account. Each Labelizer project belongs to one Flowboost project (and the Google Ads account connected to it) and keeps its own setup, schedule, runs and results. You can run multiple Labelizer projects across multiple Flowboost projects.
What you need
Before setup, you need:
- Access to the correct organisation.
- A connected Google Ads integration.
- At least one Flowboost project with a Google Ads account connected.
- Merchant Center access if you want Labelizer to write labels back to a product feed.
- A target metric, such as ROAS or CPA.
- A custom label slot you can use for Labelizer output.
- An active Flowboost subscription to activate live label syncing. You can configure and preview a project without one, but activation that syncs labels to Merchant Center requires an active subscription.
Choose the right organisation
Labelizer requires a selected organisation. If no organisation is selected, you will see a locked page instead of your projects.
Check the organisation selector before starting. If the wrong organisation is selected, you may not see the right Google Ads accounts or existing Labelizer projects.
Connect Google first
Open Settings > Organisation settings > Integrations and connect Google.
After connecting, go to Settings > Organisation settings > Projects and add a project with the Google Ads account you want to use.
Decide how products should be labelled
Labelizer groups products into buckets such as Over-index, Index, Near-index, Under-index and No index.
Before setup, decide:
- Whether you want to use ROAS or CPA.
- The target value.
- The date range.
- Any conversion lag.
- Which conversion actions should count.
- Whether specific brands, product types, feed labels, or countries should be included.
Merchant Center setup
If you want Labelizer to sync labels back to Merchant Center, make sure the Google user has the right Merchant Center access.
If you only want to review results in Flowboost first, you can set up Labelizer without enabling feed sync immediately.
